Welcome to the 61st Hemet Double Century Website. The ride will be held on Saturday, April 12th. Kermit Ganier, Ira Kucheck, and Tony Musorafite will be running the operational side of the event. Dr. Jim Watrous is now the Race Director, Emeritus for the Double.

General Info About the double

The Hemet Double Century is a giant figure eight type route composed of two 100-mile loops. The start/finish and lunch stop are at the center of the figure eight at the MOTEL 6. Located at:

Each loop has approximately 3300 feet of elevation gain spread over the entire 100-mile loop.The Double Century has an 18 hour soft time limit. Double Century riders can start between 3:30 AM and 6:00 AM. The Double Century closes at 11:59 PM.Rest Stops:There will be 6 rest stops on the course. They will all have water and snacks. Lunch will be served at the Motel 6. There is no drop bag service.Accommodations:The Motel 6 is the 2025 Hemet host hotel for the event. This is the same event location that has been used for the last 40 years. There are two restaurants next to the Motel 6. They are Marie Calendar's and Los Vaqueros Cantina and Grill.The Motel 6 is located at:

Reservations: To make room reservations please call 800-544-4868 to reserve your room. When you call the number tell them you are wanting to reserve a room under the Hemet Double room block. The block will be held until March 25th. NOTE: We have room blocks at both the Motel 6 noted above and the Motel Studio 6 (it has a kitchenette) approx 1.5 miles away.

The process for registering for the Hemet Double Century is the following:1. Email [email protected] and put Hemet in the subject line. Please include your name and phone number in the body of the email. We'll send you a payment link. Upon receipt of payment an email to the Registration Form will be sent. Registration is open now until March 28th and is $125.00. After March 28th until April 10th registration is $150.00. Onsite registration is $175.00, cash only. If you are planning day of registration, please email - [email protected] to let us know in advance. Please be sure to check your SPAM folder for our emails. Sometimes they end up there :-(.
2. The event will take place rain or shine and there will be no refunds (or transfers) for the event.
3. As there is ongoing road construction in the area, the route will be finalized at the beginning of April and a route slip (pdf) will be emailed to all registered riders. There will not be a RWGPS file for the event.
4. The route will be as close as possible to the previous routes for the Hemet DC. The exceptions would be made only for construction/closures. If you’ve ridden the Hemet DC previously the course will be very similar.
